CLIJA(A) and ACCU preparing for English-speaking DT and DAP at LPEM
Criteria for joining a CLIJAA class
- Between 16 and 24 years old
- Students wishing to continue their education after completing the CLIJA class by opting for one of the English-language educational pathways offered by the LPEM in Differdange and Dommeldange

Energy electronics technicians are mainly involved in planning, installing and maintaining electrical and electronic installations of all kinds in buildings, but also on industrial production lines and in energy distribution. They also repair or modify existing installations. Energy electronics technicians can work in a service company or in an industry.
o DAP Cutting Machine Operator:
Machining mechanics are mainly involved in the production of precision metal parts. They produce these parts according to drawings, using numerically controlled machining centres. Machining mechanics can work in the automotive industry or in production companies (metal or mechanical construction).

o DT Information Technology (Informatics):
The IT technician’s field of action extends to all areas where computer hardware is used, i.e. banks, administrations, commercial companies, industrial production companies, electrical engineering, construction, mechanics, etc.
IT division technicians have a wide range of tasks depending on the job they do. They are trained in the installation, commissioning and maintenance of computers and made indispensable in almost all areas of professional life.
o DT Smart Technologies (STI) & E-controls
Home, electromobility, Internet of things, communication networks… these are all new technologies that are increasingly used in industry and which, in terms of vocational training, open the way to careers of the future.
o DT Mechanics (General Mechanics):
Mechanics in General Mechanics are mainly responsible for manufacturing mechanical parts according to drawings by drilling, turning, milling and grinding. They assemble mechanical units and check that they are working properly. Mechanics in General Mechanics can work in a wide range of industrial sectors.

Procedure:
Students registered on Forms will be contacted by telephone during the week of 08.07.2024.
An information meeting or interview may be held, subject to the availability of the LPEM management. Candidates will be informed in due course.
Interviews :
If students are required to attend an interview, they must bring their own documents:
• the school report card for the 1st semester or 2nd quarter if available
• the provisional orientation notice, if available
• an updated CV
• a letter of motivation addressed to our school management outlining their reasons
for coming to the LPEM and the target projects
• a copy of CNS card
• a copy of residence permit/identity card/passport/pink paper
