LPEM – DT in Information Technology

The Diploma of Technician (DT) in Information Technology is a 4-year vocational training program at Lycée
Privé Emile Metz. The program is organized in modules rather than traditional subjects, combining both
general education and specialized vocational training in IT.

    • Each module is assessed on a scale of 60 points
    • Minimum 30 points required to pass a module
    • Compulsory modules must score at least 20 points

  • Must pass all fundamental modules (except one internship)
  • Must complete second 6-week internship (8th semester)
  • Must successfully complete Final Integrated Project (PIF)
  • Any compulsory module has been rated at least 20 points

Admission Requirements

  • 5G diploma completed at globally advanced or basic level
  • Mathematics: sufficient advanced coursework or strong basic coursework
  • Pass entrance exams in English and Mathematics
  • Submit application for admission

Graduation Prospects

Upon successful completion of the DT in Information Technology, graduates can:

  • Enter the workforce as IT professionals in various roles
  • Pursue Master Craftsmanship (Brevet de Maîtrise) while working
  • Bridge to General Secondary Education (ESG) in ‘2e’ (12th year)
